DE BOER TO LOSE HIS CRYSTAL PALACE JOB

Frank de Doer is set to lose his Crystal Palace job that he was only appointed to this summer.

The former Ajax coach has started life very poorly in the Premier League, losing the first four games. The manager is under pressure especially as many questioned his employment following his Inter Milan disappointment last term.

The team has conceded six goals already, scoring none and at the bottom of the table. When West Ham United play their game, the woes would tell clearly. The manager’s best display was against a highly attacking Liverpool side that ended 1-0 at Anfield.

New boys Huddersfield dominated them shockingly as the season began. They defeated them 3-0 at home but many hoped it was a one-time thing. After the Liverpool performance, fans expected more as it showed improvement. Next Swansea City defeated them 2-0 before Burnley added their recently.

The team has largely relied on misfiring Christian Benteke. The former Reds striker has been criticized for blowing away clear chances. Even De Boer has asked the team to show more courage after their recent display. He clearly lacks the ability to motivate the team, which is one likely reason that would earn him a sack soon.

The manager won just four games after 11 Serie A matches last term. Inter Milan sacked him after just 85 days as they were more ambitious. Though the club has struggled in recent years, De Boer does not seem like one that can really change things.

Crystal Palace host Southampton and then Huddersfield (EFL Cup). The results from these two games are crucial as both losses clearly point to De Boer’s sack. Because they play the rampaging Manchester clubs back to back next. That would mean sevenleague losses in a row. No one survives that.
