CRYSTAL PALACE SET TO SIGN WEST HAM FORWARD

Crystal Palace are reportedly interested in West Ham forward Michail Antonio according to reports from England. The 29-year-old is understood to be available in the summer, and Palace are looking to swoop for the forward.

Antonio has enjoyed a decent season for the London side scoring six goals and four assists in all competitions. It is believed that the Eagles are looking at the player to replace MichyBatshuayi on loan from Chelsea.

Batshuayi impressed in Selhurst Park by scoring five goals in 11 appearances but the Blues current transfer ban means that he is most likely going back to Stamford Bridge in the summer. Antonio is viewed as an experienced player in the EPL with his pace and power a crucial aspect of his game.

The England international has been an important player for the Hammers this season after the untimely injury of Andriy Yarmolenko.  Palace boss Roy Hodgson wants to add strength to the squad that is heavily reliant on Wilfred Zaha and Andros Townsend for goals.

Christian Benteke has been abysmal in the past two seasons with the big Belgian netting just once in the league this season. Inaddition, he has struggled with injuries and looks to be luxury player for the club given his huge wages.

Wilfred Zaha has also been the subject of speculations with several reports suggesting that he could make a move away from the club. It had been reported that several top clubs including Arsenal and Liverpool are weighing up a bid for the Ivorian international.

It is understood that West Ham value Antonio around the £20 million range and Palace would need to pay this amount to get the forward.Antonio could come in as a less costly replacement for Zaha should he make the move.
